A moonlit view across the water at Walbridge Park in Toledo, Ohio. The full moon reflects in a broad river or lagoon, and lights from a boathouse and a smaller shore building streak across the surface. A large house or pavilion glows on the wooded bluff above, with a long stairway descending the hillside to the water. Walbridge Park was laid out along the Maumee River in the late nineteenth century and became one of Toledo's principal pleasure grounds, with riverfront drives, picnic groves, and boathouses.

Franklin:
Received your
card and was overjoyed as I thought
you had forgotten us. That was
some boat and only wish we were
along with you. I suppose you are
more than enjoying yourself on
Broadway by this time. The picture
is a reminder of the pleasant time
we spent with you at the Falls I mean
the picture we had taken at the Falls.
Your friend,
Loretta O'Neil
