About this postcard

Mount Hood rises in a broad snow-covered cone above dense evergreen forest, seen from Government Camp on the Mount Hood Loop Road. A snowy clearing and two small buildings sit in the foreground. Mount Hood is Oregon's highest peak, a volcanic summit in the Cascade Range, and Government Camp is a small south-side base for travelers and climbers. The Mount Hood Loop Road was a scenic auto route around the mountain.
