A green, rounded mountain ridge rises behind a broad meadow dotted with shrubs and a foreground of red and yellow wildflowers under a blue sky with puffy clouds. The card names the peak as Mt. Magazine, Arkansas, at an elevation of 2,823 feet. Mount Magazine, in the Arkansas River Valley, is the highest point in Arkansas and was long a remote, forested ridge before becoming a national forest recreation area and later a state park.
White border; visible linen (crosshatch) texture. The '4B' prefix in the card number is Curt Teich's 1934 dating code.
No postmark; unused divided-back Curteich "C.T. American Art" post card, linen era (ca. 1930sā40s). Pencil name at upper left; light toning and edge wear.
