About this postcard

A view across broad lawns and curving gravel drives toward the brick buildings of Nazareth Academy in Kalamazoo, Michigan, with a small domed cupola on the central hall and a water tower behind. The card's own caption names the school. Nazareth Academy was a Catholic girls' school conducted by the Sisters of St. Joseph, who came to Kalamazoo in the 1890s; the campus later became the site of Nazareth College. Bare and budding trees suggest an early spring view.
