About this postcard
A two-story white mansion in the Greek Revival manner, fronted by a giant-order portico of six smooth columns carrying a flat entablature, with a small louvered cupola and chimneys rising above a low red roof. Tall shuttered windows and grilled doorways open onto the porch, reached by a short flight of steps; bare deciduous trees frame the view and a large brick commercial block stands at the left along the street. The picture is a mid-century color photograph with no printed caption, so the building is not identified on the card itself.
