This is a beautiful
building. Went all through
it. In the center it
is open up to the dome
and the corridors are
built right around it,
forming balconies on
each floor. The mosaic
work on the floors is
beautiful.
White border along bottom edge with caption printed in red; small red number '52' at lower right. Light edge and corner wear.
No postmark. Divided-back 'POST CARD' with printed stamp box '1 cent for U.S. and Canada, 2 cents Foreign'; 'Printed in Germany' along left edge. Handwritten message dated July 10th 1908; no stamp, no address written. Dealer pencil notation 'E508 20¢' at top. Front shows New Post Office, Chicago.
