Two monochrome village views share a New Year greeting: a rectangular scene of a river and waterfall in a village, and a circular view down a lane lined with houses and trees. Holly and scrollwork frame the views, and the printed greeting wishes the recipient a happy New Year with all good wishes. Such cards were common in the early 1900s, when senders used printed holiday designs for a short handwritten note.
White border; monochrome; printed greeting card; series number 3889.
