The Waltham Watch Factory appears at night as a long, multi-story industrial block, its windows lit in rows against a dark sky. The building spans the width of the view, and the glow from the windows suggests activity inside the plant after dark. The Waltham Watch Company was among the best-known American watchmakers, and its factory complex was a central part of Waltham's economy.
