A view of the Oklahoma State Capitol, a long Neoclassical building with a colonnaded portico and central dome-less block, an American flag flying above, with a row of 1920s–1930s automobiles parked along the drive in the foreground. The building was completed in 1917 and is notable for its Greek Revival styling and limestone facade; the grounds later became known for oil wells drilled on the capitol site. The cars date the view to the interwar years.
