A narrow, cobbled street in the old Montmartre quarter of Paris, lined with tall shuttered houses, with the great white dome and campanile of the Sacré-Cœur basilica rising at the end of the view. The Basilica of the Sacré-Cœur was built on the butte Montmartre between 1875 and 1914, and its Romano-Byzantine silhouette became the defining landmark of the hilltop artists' district shown here.

Hello folks — 10/3/27
We all came here to see much
I write this trip has been no disap-
pointment as far as a good tour is con-
cerned. We have had as good fun in my
life. Got in at 6 this a.m. a party of
us were out seeing night life in Paris +
done seen quite a bit of that.
We'll have so much to tell you when we
get back. Leaving for Switzerland + Italy 10/7
until 10/28 — then back home + on to
England (unless I change my plans).
You is my darling "boy friend". Sincerely
yours, Ruth Regula — Claire
