22.-OLMOS DAM, SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS --- OLMOS DAM NEAR SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS Constructed at a cost of $1,571,000 on the edge of the city of San Antonio, this dam is across a dry channel which drains the rainfall from a wide area of hill country, the only outlet of which is the San Antonio River, over which there are about fifty bridges within the city limits.
