About this postcard

A four-engine Boeing 707-320 of Olympic Airways banks through a clear blue sky, the Greek registration SX-DBA visible on the rear fuselage. The jet wears the carrier's white-topped livery with a dark blue cheatline and the Olympic rings on the tail. Olympic Airways was Greece's national carrier, taken over by Aristotle Onassis in 1957 and built into a long-haul operator through the 1960s. The 707-320 was the long-range model of Boeing's first jetliner, the aircraft that made intercontinental jet travel routine in that decade.
