A studio still life of three ripe oranges resting among glossy green leaves and clusters of white orange blossoms against a dark, nearly black background. The card is a Detroit Publishing Co. "Phostint" color print, a photochrom-style process that turned photographic negatives into richly tinted lithographic cards. Such fruit-and-blossom subjects were popular decorative and greeting cards in the early 20th century, celebrating the California and Florida citrus harvests.
