About this postcard

A grassy shoreline at Lakeside Park opens onto Owasco Lake, with a lone man in a hat standing under a large tree at the water's edge. A path runs along the shore at left, and wooded hills rise across the lake beneath a sunset sky. Owasco Lake is one of New York's Finger Lakes, and Auburn lies just north of it. The sender's note reports an arrival in Auburn at 1:45 and a trip with no mishaps, a small travel update from a summer visit.
