A curving row of tall, pale-trunked palms stands on a green lawn beside a still, blue waterway that mirrors the trees and sky; low green woods and a soft pinkish horizon close the view under a cloud-flecked sky. The card's own caption calls it simply "A Beauty Spot in Florida," a typical generic view of the state's tropical vegetation issued for tourists. Such palm-lined canals, lakes and garden pools were standard subjects for Florida view cards of the mid-twentieth century.
