The view looks down a curving road on the Sky-Line Drive, with evergreen trees edging the pavement and layered Blue Ridge ridges fading toward a sunset sky. The road follows the crest of the Blue Ridge in Shenandoah National Park, built in the 1930s to open the high overlooks to motor tourists. The caption's "Sky-Line" spelling is an early styling of today's Skyline Drive.
White border; visible linen texture; light edge and corner wear.
No postmark; 1¢ Franklin stamp uncancelled. Divided-back linen-era card with white border; imprint of Asheville Post Card Co. ("In the Heart of the Blue Ridge" logo). Light toning and a few stray pink pen squiggles.
