A passenger train pauses on the Canadian Pacific Railway line at The Outlook in Albert Canyon, British Columbia. A stone retaining wall holds the track against the rocky cliff, and a group of people stands along the wall, taking in the view. Forested mountains rise behind them.
Albert Canyon was a scenic stop on the CPR's main line through the Selkirk Mountains. The railway promoted such views to tourists, and the Outlook offered a vantage point over the canyon.
