A tall, light-colored stone or brick office block of about ten stories rises at a street corner, its ground floor framed by columns around the entrance, with a red brick building at left and a street receding to the right. The card names it the Peoples National Bank Building in Lynchburg, Virginia, a commercial landmark of the city's early-20th-century downtown. The rendering is a typical tinted view of the period, with a few pedestrians and a horse-drawn vehicle on the pavement below.
White border; printed number 952 at lower left; slight edge and corner wear.
No postmark — card is unused. Divided-back "POST CARD" with "FOR WRITING MESSAGES" / "THIS SPACE FOR ADDRESS ONLY" headings; Bell-Chrome (C.T. American Art) stock, imprint of J. P. Bell Co., Lynchburg, VA; light soiling and a small stain at lower left.
