Post Card "PILGRIMS AT THE GRAVE OF THE HOLY ELIZABETH" Original painting by Carl Bantzer, the celebrated German artist, hangs in the Dresden Gallery. A large and forceful picture showing the shrine of St. Elizabeth, with the sick and poor visiting it and touching the tomb for the healing of their diseases. The tomb, in the form of a tablet in the floor, is surrounded with flowers and candles, and incense from a large censer near the tomb fills the room. The effect of the candle-lights and smoke is beautifully rendered. Published by Continental Art Co., Chicago Place Stamp Here Domestic One Cent Foreign Two Cents
