A spray of pink single wild roses — three open blooms with yellow stamens and several buds — rises against a green and blue stippled panel, with a large blank white area at the left for a message. The blossoms resemble the wild or rugosa roses popular in early twentieth-century floral greeting cards, which were sold blank for correspondence and holiday or birthday messages rather than as views of a place.
