A large Romanesque-style stone post office building with a clock tower, steep slate roofs and an American flag flying from the central cupola, seen from the street corner. Pedestrians in period dress walk the sidewalk past the entrance steps, with commercial buildings and a 'PARR'S' storefront at the left.
