The card carries no picture: it is a plain printed business form reading "Gentlemen: Please have your representative call on ______ (date) at ______ Signed ______." Such fill-in cards were supplied by firms so that customers or salesmen could request a visit from a company representative, and they were commonly mailed or handed in at offices in the early twentieth century. The blank lines are left unfilled, so no firm, date, or signer is identified.
Plain tan card stock, no picture or border; light soiling and a small spot near the lower center; form left blank and unused.
No postmark visible. Government-issued one-cent postal card (Jefferson indicium), undivided back with printed "THIS SIDE OF CARD IS FOR ADDRESS"; typed address; light toning and a small pencil dealer mark ("Ux27/2") in the upper-left corner.
