The Public Library in Waltham, Massachusetts, stands behind a green lawn with conical evergreens, its red brick facade fronted by a columned portico and arched windows. Neighboring buildings appear at the left and right edges under a blue sky with clouds. Waltham was an industrial city west of Boston, known in the early twentieth century for watchmaking and factory work, and its public library was a civic landmark for a growing population.

Dear Henry: -
I suppose you are busy now, getting things into shape. I am taking a little vacation. Expect to go to work in a week or so. As you are an expert camouflager by this time, being excelled alone by me, I suppose you work it to good advantage. Best goes
Best regards.
Drop me a line.
