About this postcard

This card is a printed Rally Day invitation for a school class, headed "Rally Day" and urging members to make it an "Every-Member-Present-Day" and to bring someone. The form's blanks are filled in by hand with "Sunday Oct 17, 1915 11 a.m." The sender's note treats the appeal as a formality: "No doubt this is needless. Expect to see you anyway." Rally Day was a common early-20th-century school and Sunday-school attendance campaign.
