A red touring car comes toward the viewer along a narrow dirt road cut through dense woods. Tall trunks line both sides, small red and white flowers dot the grassy verges, and sky shows through the canopy overhead. Open-air motoring into forests and mountain roads was a popular pastime in the 1920s and 1930s, and views like this one sold the pleasure of a woodland drive.
White border; top left corner has paper loss/tear; printed number 78280 in lower right.
No postmark, stamp, or handwriting — unused card. Divided-back 'C. T. AMERICAN ART' (Curt Teich) imprint, c. 1930s–40s. White border, textured (linen-style) stock; light foxing/toning on the back.
