The Regency Hyatt House in Atlanta, a 1,000-room hotel with a 23-story covered atrium, appears as a tall cylindrical tower topped by a blue glass dome. Its facade is a dense grid of windows and balconies, with another dark glass building at right. Promoted as "America's most talked about hotel," it was known for circular glass elevators, a 70-foot fountain, and an elevated cocktail lounge under a parasol roof.
