About this postcard

Riverside Church stands at Riverside Drive and 122nd Street in Morningside Heights, a Gothic Revival landmark with a tall tower and long nave, seen from a street corner with cars parked at the curb and trees along the sidewalk under a blue sky with clouds. The printed caption notes its commanding site almost opposite Grant's Tomb and its 13th-century French Gothic design, with the tower said to be visible far away in New Jersey. Floris writes to Jeannette Paul in Whitman, Massachusetts, of having "one grand time" and hating to come back, pointing out the underlined caption text above.
