About this postcard

The S.S. Milwaukee Clipper, a white-hulled excursion steamer, moves across open blue water under a partly cloudy sky. Passengers line the open decks and railings, and red, white, and blue markings show on the funnel amidships. The vessel ran between Muskegon, Michigan, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and the caption calls the crossing a "beautiful Lake Michigan Cruise." The Milwaukee Clipper was a Lake Michigan passenger and automobile ferry in the mid-20th century.
