About this postcard

A comic Florida souvenir view: a woman in a white dress tips sand from her high-heeled shoe while two children in bathing suits sit on the sand. Palm trees, a red-and-yellow beach umbrella, a striped bench, and bathers at the water's edge fill the background. The printed verse riffs on the title, praising Florida's blue skies, friendship, evergreens, and clean beach sand, and telling anyone with sand in their shoes to shake it out and enjoy the state. Curt Teich of Chicago supplied comic souvenir views to Florida's tourist trade in the 1940s.
