A quiet northern Wisconsin lake at sunset, viewed through a frame of tall trees from a grassy shore, with a small rowboat pulled up at the water's edge and a low far bank across the water. The card names the scene only as a scenic lake near Rhinelander, a city in Oneida County that became a hub of Wisconsin's North Woods resort and logging country. Cards of this style, printed with a textured linen finish, were popular in the late 1930s through the 1950s.
White border; visible linen/canvas texture; Curt Teich job code "6A-H2068" printed vertically at lower right.
No postmark — card is unused. Divided-back "POST CARD" with one-cent stamp box; linen-textured Curt Teich "C.T. Art-Colortone" stock (front white border, S-375 / 6A-H2068). No damage beyond light age toning.
