About this postcard

A curving paved walkway edged by a rough stone seawall runs along a grassy terrace above the water, with benches, a tall shaft monument, a small cannon, and a stack of cannonballs at Lookout Point. The scene is Sea Side Park in Bridgeport, Connecticut, a shoreline park on the city's south end with views across Long Island Sound. The monument and guns give the point a memorial character, and the sender's note calls it "our Park" while urging a friend to come to Bridgeport and see it.
