About this postcard
A long red-brick school building with white stone trim, a projecting columned entrance pavilion and a flagpole flying the American flag on the lawn, seen across a wide street and green lawn. The printed caption names it the Senior High School of Mansfield, Ohio, an industrial city in north-central Ohio known for its brass, copper and appliance manufacturing. The linen-era rendering with its saturated sky is typical of mid-century Curt Teich 'C' style views of civic buildings.
