About this postcard

A long, flat-roofed sight-seeing boat crowded with passengers sits on the Green River in Mammoth Cave National Park. A small flag flies from the roof, and a railed landing stage is moored alongside. The boat is the "Miss Green River," used for scenic excursions on the river. Mammoth Cave National Park was established in 1941, and boat trips gave visitors a view of the Green River valley and the cave country from the water.
