About this postcard

The waterfall drops 268 feet over a rocky ledge into a misty pool, with trees and buildings on the surrounding bluffs. The printed caption calls the falls the "Niagara of the West" and points travelers to Snoqualmie Falls Lodge on the brink, where the view took in the falls and distant snow-capped mountains. The caption also promotes the falls as a short drive from Seattle on a paved highway.
