The picture shows a tall white soldiers' monument topped by a statue, set in a grassy park with an American flag, cannons, and a flower bed; the printed caption names it Soldiers' Monument and Park, Rochester, Pa. Rochester is a borough in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, along the Ohio River. The card's linen texture and white border place it in the mid-20th century.

Dear Clara & Tony,
Having a nice time
but I never seem it
to finish as soon as I
hear from Mom go
to the Hosp. She is going
Tues. May 15th to have
her leg taken care of.
This is a picture of the
place where Eddie
lives. Pretty isn't it.
Hope everyone is fine.
Will see you the 26th
or 27th of May.
Love
Doris.
