St. Ann's Catholic Church and its parsonage stand among mature trees in Alpena, Michigan. The church is a large brick building with two towers topped by crosses, arched windows, and a central entrance under a rounded canopy. The parsonage, the priest's residence, sits beside it. Alpena was a Lake Huron port and lumber town, and the church complex was a landmark for the city's Catholic community in the early 1900s.
