About this postcard
A color lithograph view of St. Margaret's Hospital, a large multi-story red brick institutional building with a tall square tower topped by small crosses, sited on a corner lot with lawn, shrubs and a low retaining wall; a few small figures stand on the sidewalk at lower left. St. Margaret's was a Catholic hospital in Kansas City, Kansas, staffed in its early years by religious sisters, and the cross-topped tower reflects that affiliation. The card names the site at the corner of Vermont and Garfield streets.
