About this postcard

A tall Art Deco statehouse rises above landscaped shrubs and trees, framed by foliage at the left and right edges. The New Orleans firm Weiss, Dreyfous and Seiferth designed the Louisiana State Capitol in Baton Rouge, completed in 1932. At 34 stories, it is the tallest state capitol in the United States. Governor Huey P. Long, who pushed for the building, is buried on its grounds.
