A studio portrait of a small child standing full-length against a mottled dark backdrop, wearing a white dress with a wide collar, a belt at the waist, white stockings and white high-button shoes. The child's hair is short and light, and the pose is a typical early-20th-century studio sitting, the sort of photograph families had printed as real-photo postcards to share with relatives. No caption, studio name, or location is printed on the front.
