About this postcard

Elevated view of Temple Block in Salt Lake City, with the six-spired Salt Lake Temple dominating the grounds, the oval-roofed Salt Lake Tabernacle and the red-roofed Assembly Hall nearby, and streetcars and automobiles on the surrounding streets. The Salt Lake Temple was begun in 1853 and dedicated in 1893, and the adjacent Tabernacle, completed in 1867, is famed for its huge unsupported wooden dome and its acoustics. The walled ten-acre block remains the historic center of the Latter-day Saint faith.
