About this postcard

A flock of bronze and white turkeys stands in a farmyard, with a large orange pumpkin in the foreground lettered "PEACE AND PROSPERITY" and a second pumpkin behind it. Corn shocks, a farmhouse, and outbuildings fill the hazy yellow background. The scene gathers the holiday's familiar harvest emblems into a wish for the coming year. A handwritten note asks whether the "flying horse" is in commission yet and says the writer wants the first ride.
