About this postcard

The card is a Thanksgiving greeting: an oval vignette of a country path and autumn trees is framed by blue cornflowers and wheat, above a printed verse beginning “On Thanksgiving Day.” The design is a chromolithograph typical of early twentieth-century holiday postcards, when Thanksgiving greetings often combined harvest motifs with sentimental verse. No publisher imprint is visible.
