About this postcard

A long, multi-story hotel with a tall central clock tower and a smaller corner tower, fronted by an arcaded veranda, with early automobiles and pedestrians on the street before it. The Arlington Hotel was the grand resort hotel of Hot Springs, Arkansas, serving visitors to the Hot Springs Reservation (now Hot Springs National Park); the large brick building shown here was the third Arlington, opened in 1893 and rebuilt after a 1923 fire. The caption names the scene directly.
