Seen from below through overhanging branches, the steel lattice cross on Mount Royal rises against a pink and lavender sky. The illuminated landmark stands above Montreal, its open framework dark against the tinted light.
The cross was erected in 1924 and has long been lit at night as a landmark above the city.
White border on all sides; halftone dot texture visible; scan is rotated 90 degrees (caption runs vertically along the left edge).
No postmark. Divided-back card, unused — no address or message. Printed in Canada (oval imprint, lower left). Light soiling and faint smudges on the back.
