Christchurch Priory, The Lady Chapel --- POST CARD Sent with Greetings CHRISTCHURCH PRIORY. The Priory Church of Christchurch is one of the noblest and loveliest of our larger churches, and stands on the site of an earlier church. Commenced in 1094 by Ralph Flambard, builder of Durham Cathedral, it became a Priory of Austin Canons in 1150. The church contains architecture of every style from early Norman to Tudor.
