A halftone view of the domed First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, captioned by the card as "The New Christian Science Church," with a smaller Romanesque tower and gabled wing at the right. The domed edifice, designed by Charles Brigham and completed in 1906 as an extension of the original 1894 Mother Church, is the denomination's principal house of worship in the Back Bay. The card was copyrighted the year the building opened.
