About this postcard

A long arched trellis covered in climbing roses and greenery forms a tunnel over a shaded park walkway. The path recedes beneath successive rose-covered arches, with trees and lawn on either side. Hanscom Park was among Omaha's early public parks, and rose bowers were a common ornamental feature in city parks of the period.
