About this postcard

Night view of the Singing Tower rising above palms and pines, its upper windows glowing, mirrored in the still reflecting pool below. The tower, designed by architect Milton B. Medary and completed in 1929, houses a carillon and stands at the center of the Mountain Lake Sanctuary created by Edward W. Bok, who dedicated the grounds to the American people with a speech by Calvin Coolidge. The sanctuary later became Bok Tower Gardens, one of Florida's best-known landmarks.
