A tinted view of an eroded badlands butte, its slopes cut into fluted ridges and horizontal bands of grey, pink and ochre rock. Loose slabs of reddish stone litter the foreground beneath a pale blue-to-pink sky.
No white border; heavy surface scuffing and flaking with white spots where the image layer is lost, mostly in the sky and right side.
No postmark. Divided-back hand-colored Albertype card published for Rainbow Forest Lodge; unused, no message or address written. Light foxing/toning on cream stock.
