The view looks out over the Atlantic surf at Nantasket Beach, with broken waves and whitecaps filling the foreground and running toward a low horizon. A pink and blue sky hangs over the open water, and no bathers or buildings interrupt the scene.
Nantasket Beach, in Hull south of Boston, was a popular summer resort in the early 20th century. The card isolates the ocean side of the shore rather than the crowded beach and amusement park.

Dear Mom & Dad
Mom, I guess you are not the only one in a fix on the weather. Today is a good day for ducks. Had fish last nite. Getting a rest anyway.
